Due to the need to have a group for the gathering and cooperation of official importers of cosmetic, health and perfume products and joint efforts in the field of implementing and organizing the import of goods according to legal regulations and also using each other’s experiences to solve the problems of importers, the Association of Importers of Health, Cosmetic and Perfume Products of Iran On 2006/03/16, based on Clause (k) of Article (5) of the Law on the Formation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, executive regulations and model statutes of economic organizations affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran (approved in 2001/05/01 Supreme Supervisory Council of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran) as well as Article (5) of the Law on Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment, established by a number of importers with a history of cosmetics, hygiene and perfumery products and under number 197 in the Chamber of Iran has been registered. The members of the association are all active in the field of importing these products by obtaining the necessary permits from the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and the Ministry of Health and have commercial exchanges with many European, North American and Asian countries.

According to the approval of the statute of 2022, the association has started to accept the membership of companies that have a brand and are active in outsourced production.

The association is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, and one of the members of the board of directors of the association is a member of the Iranian Chamber of Representatives.

The activity areas of the association are:

– Skin care products
– Hair care products
– Oral hygiene products
– make up products
– Perfumes
– Health products for mother and child care

Some of the tasks and goals of the association are as follows:

– Organizing the import of goods and services related to the activity of the association
– Protecting the legal rights and interests of members
– Establishing good relations between members
– Interaction and cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade, the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Iran, the Headquarters for Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling, the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Other related organizations and bodies in order to implement the laws and provide advice and suggestions regarding the development or revision of the approved rules.

The association is a member of many federations and working groups inside and outside the Iran Chamber, which naturally makes the association an effective and active role in many policies of this field. Also, the association carries out joint activities and cooperation with many domestic and foreign organizations, associations and institutions, which greatly expands the scope of the association’s activities.
